Join us from Friday evening 15th Sep to Sunday lunchtime 17th Sep at Crosslands Youth & Convention Centre in the beautiful Berowra Valley for a weekend of teachings, retreat and relaxation.
Take some time out to reconnect with life’s purpose, and explore the Buddhist pathway to meaning and happiness founded on love, compassion & wisdom.
Crosslands Youth & Convention Centre
If you have been on our Regional Weekends away before, you will be familiar with Crosslands.
Located in the beautiful Berowra Valley only one hour drive from Sydney’s CBD, Crosslands is set on 40 ha of natural bushland in the beautiful and secluded Berowra Valley Regional Park on the Berowra River, which offers a spectacular backdrop for this special weekend.
A variety of on-site accommodation options are available including camping, dormitory, twin and triple rooms. There is also an off-site option for those who wish to organise their own accommodation or travel for the day.

If you're short on time but looking forward to an opportunity to reconnect with the community, come along for Saturday only.
Cost: $110 per person including lunch and your retreat fee.

Offsite - whole weekend - bookings open 1 July 2023 at 1pm
If you prefer to arrange your own accommodation, our Offsite - whole weekend option gives you the flexibility at attend the entire retreat without staying on -site.
Cost: $220 per person including 6 meals and your retreat fee.

Camping - bookings open 1 July 2023 at 1pm
Bring your camping gear and pitch your tent down by the river on the spacious grassed area close to the clean and well maintained amenities block.
PLEASE NOTE: you must provide all of your own camping equipment including bedding, pillow, towel etc.
Cost: $255 per person including 6 meals and your retreat fee.

Dormitory - bookings open 1 July 2023 at 1pm
Get a group together or meet new friends by staying in one of our clean en-suited dormitories. Dormitories have 6-8 bunk style beds.
PLEASE NOTE: you must provide all of your own bedding, a pillow, and towel.
Cost: $255 per person including 6 meals and your retreat fee.

Triple Share - bookings open 1 July 2023 at 1pm
Are you a group of 3 and you'd like to guarantee sharing together with no one else in your space? Our triple share option is perfect!. Dormitories have 6-8 bunk style beds so with the triple share option your are guaranteed of a lower bunk and only sharing your bathroom with 2 others.
PLEASE NOTE: you must provide all of your own bedding, a pillow, and towel.
Cost: $320 per person including 6 meals and your retreat fee. Please do not book this option if you don't have 2 other people to share with.

Twin Share - bookings open 1 July 2023 at 1pm
Like the triple share, our twin share option guarantees exclusive use of one of the dormitory rooms for 2 people. This option is ideal if you are a couple wanting to stay in the same room or friends needing some one on one catch up time.
PLEASE NOTE: you must provide all of your own bedding, a pillow, and towel.
Cost: $355 per person including 6 meals and your retreat fee. Please do not book this option if you don't have 1 other people to share with.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are not permitted on site before 4:30pm on Friday 15 September. Please plan to arrive between 4pm and 7:30pm. Please keep in mind that the area may be unfamiliar to you and the roads are dark at night so please aim to arrive prior to sunset to make your journey easier. The forecast sunset is 7:02pm.
Yes, but it is patchy - great conditions for retreat. Don't worry, we can communicate in the event of an emergency.
Unfortunately this event is not suitable for children.
Sorry, no pets are allowed on site.
The Crosslands venue is quite hilly and as such may be difficult for people who have issues with mobility. If you have any concerns about mobility please call KMC Sydney for more information.
Meals are included in your booking and are vegetarian. Gluten free and vegan options are available. PLEASE NOTE: gluten free meals are prepared in the same kitchen as other meals and some cross contamination may occur. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for other food sensitivities.
